The Registered Nursing Home Association represented small care and nursing homes. In April 2023, the National Care Association and the RNHA announced that there were merging. The merged organisation is called the National Care Association and with over 1100 individual members is the largest trade association in the country. Ian Turner, Executive Chairman of RNHA and Nadra Ahmed CBE, Executive Chairman of NCA, will continue in their roles and co-chair the new representative body.
